False Cognates - Fabric vs. Fábrica

Fabric means a material made from threads, like cotton, used to make clothes or curtains.

Example: I love this dress. The fabric is so soft!

Fábrica means factory in English — a place where products are made.

Example: My uncle works in a car factory.
