History is full of amazing women. They worked hard and changed the world. Let's look at two famous examples.

Marie Curie was a scientist from Poland. She lived many years in France. She studied science when it was very difficult for women to go to university. She discovered new things and won two Nobel Prizes. Her work helped doctors use X-rays to look inside the human body.

Amelia Earhart was a famous American pilot. She loved flying aeroplanes. In 1932, she became the first woman to fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean. She was very brave and showed that women could do difficult and dangerous jobs.
