Reading - The Forest

THE FOREST

The forest is a wonderful and fascinating place. It is full of tall, green trees and home to many animals. In the early morning, birds sing beautiful songs, and sunlight shines through the leaves. Sometimes, it rains heavily, and the river grows wider. Fish swim in the river, and frogs hop near the water’s edge. Many people enjoy walking in the forest because it is calm and relaxing. There are clear paths to follow and wooden benches to rest on. The air in the forest is fresh and clean, and there is no noise from cars or cities.
