Reading - What is your "Love Language"?

Read the text and complete the activities below.

People express love in different ways. Dr. Gary Chapman, an American author, says there are five "languages" of love.

Words of Affirmation: You like when people say nice things to you, like "You are great!" or "I am proud of you."

Acts of Service: You feel happy when someone helps you. For example, washing the dishes or cooking dinner for you.

Receiving Gifts: You feel special when someone gives you a present, big or small.

Quality Time: You want to spend time together with no phones and no TV. Just talking.

Physical Touch: You like holding hands or hugging.

Understanding these languages helps couples and friends understand each other better.
