Reading - A Night at the "Teatro Municipal"

Hello! My name is Lucas and I live in São Paulo. I love art and culture. Today is a very special Monday. I am at the "Teatro Municipal" with my family. This theater is very old, big, and beautiful. Outside, the building is wonderful. Inside, there are many red chairs for the audience.

The lights go down and the room is very dark. Now, the play starts! The actors are on the stage. They wear beautiful costumes. In this play, one actor is a king and one actress is a queen. They speak, dance, and sing for two hours. I don't move my body because I am very interested. I watch the show and I am very happy.

In the middle of the play, there is a small break. This is the intermission. People talk, go to the bathroom, and drink water. Then, the play continues. At the end of the show, the audience is very excited. We stand up and clap our hands for a long time. The actors are very happy too. I love the theater because it is a magical experience. I want to go to the theater every weekend with my friends!
