False Cognates - Notice vs. Notícia
In English, notice and notícia look and sound similar, but they have completely different meanings.
Notice
Means perceber or notar — to become aware of something using your senses or mind.
Example: Did you notice that she changed her hair color?
Notícia
Means news in English — information about recent events.
Example: I watched the news on TV to see what happened today.
