Good morning and welcome to Student Radio 2 FM! Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Then why not go to the band competition in the Student Centre?
The competition's always been on a Friday in the past but this year it's on Sunday evening, with more than ten bands entered. They're all hoping to win the fantastic prize: a chance to make their own CD in a recording studio.
They'll play music for everyone: pop, rock, and even some jazz.
The doors open at four thirty and the competition itself starts at six but if you want to be close to the stage you should get there by a quarter past five.

If you have a student card, you'll pay seven pounds fifty. otherwise they're ten pounds each.
