Dr. Evelyn Carter (Museum Director): Thanks for meeting me on such short notice, Marcus. As you know, the board is highly concerned about our security protocols before the new Renaissance collection opens next week.

Marcus Vance (Security Consultant): Absolutely, Evelyn. I've conducted a thorough sweep of the gallery, and honestly, we have some vulnerabilities. The motion detectors in the East Wing are outdated. If a sophisticated thief targeted us, those alarms could easily be bypassed.

Dr. Evelyn Carter (Museum Director): That's terrifying. That collection features paintings worth millions of dollars. They were loaned to us by a private collector, so the liability is massive.

Marcus Vance (Security Consultant): Don't panic yet. We can upgrade the system. First, we need to install pressure-sensitive displays for the high-value frames. Second, we must replace the glass cases with laminated security glass.

Dr. Evelyn Carter (Museum Director): How long will that take? The opening ceremony is in six days!

Marcus Vance (Security Consultant): If we start tonight, we can get it done in three. But it’s going to cost a significant portion of your exhibition budget.

Dr. Evelyn Carter (Museum Director): We have no choice, Marcus. Safety and conservation come first. Let’s get to work.
