The idiom "The ball is in your court" means that it is your turn to take action or make a decision. This idiom comes from tennis — when the ball is on your side, you must hit it back. It is used in daily life when someone is waiting for you to respond or decide.

The possessive adjective (your/his/her/our/their) changes depending on who must act:

"Your" court (you decide) → I sent you the information. Now, the ball is in your court!

"Their" court (they decide) → The team has the plan. The ball is in their court now.
