VOCABULARY

  • language (0:19): a system of communication used by people
    • I am learning the English language at school.
  • theater (0:55): a place where people watch plays and performances
    • We went to the theater to watch a funny play.
  • Olympics (1:07): big world sports games happening every four years
    • The Olympics have races, swimming, and many games.
  • building (1:22): something built like a house or a school
    • The new building has five floors!
  • octopus (1:39): a sea animal with eight arms
    • The octopus swam quickly in the ocean.
  • Yassas (1:44): way to say "hello" in Greek
    • When I meet someone from Greece, I say Yassas!
